Sad holiday parting & bumpy start – Trans-Siberian Odyssey Ep.1

It’s 3am, and Natalia is getting ready for work. Like most people, she tidies her clothes, gathers her things, and kisses her children goodbye. Ahead of her lies a 300-mile (480km) commute to Moscow, Russia’s capital to start her 14-day shift. It will take her all the way across the world’s biggest country to the Pacific – and back. Natalia is a conductor on Russia’s main train, the ‘Rossiya’, on which the route is always the same, but every trip is different.
