Hospital frontlines during the pandemic
At the height of the virus outbreak, many doctors and nurses have ended up in harm’s way due to inadequate hospital protocols and the lack of personal protective equipment. In a documentary by RTD’s Lidia Vasilevskaya health workers from the USA, Italy and Russia share stories that sound like dispatches from the frontlines. They remember colleagues they’ve lost, recount personal battles with the virus, and keep pleading with people to stay home, to protect themselves and their families.
