Gruelling exercises: a rock climb vs a river rope traverse - Mountain Soldiers Ep.5

Kotelnikov’s group heads to the mountains to be tested by the battalion commander. Tulsky’s men stay at the foothills, but their training is going to be equally hard. Both teams have difficulties in accomplishing their tasks. Kotelnikov’s soldiers learn to hold their fellows from falling off a cliff while Shevchuk and his companions have to cross a river by rope.

Mountain soldiers live and train in the magnificent, but hazardous Caucasus Mountains. In this series, new recruits learn a multitude of vital skills such as navigation, rock climbing and combat training. Led by their highly competitive commanders, they overcome hardships and take on the most difficult tasks. They improve their skills through trial, error and perseverance to become better soldiers in each episode.
