Staff and patients are getting ready for a celebration to commemorate ten years of Hospice #3. With no money, they plan to get patients to write greetings and organise volunteers for a celebratory concert. When approached to write a poem for the event, Nokolay Toplov is initially reluctant but relents in the end. It’s also a celebration for cancer patient, Evgeny Prohorov and his wife, Galina who have been married forty years.
