Instead of fighting diseases and ailments, doctors of the future should be able to stop the ageing process once and for all that causes them. Life extension technology is developing fast. With the help of stem cell and gene therapy we’ll soon be able to turn back the clock, or, if worse comes to worst, preserve ourselves in cryo chambers for as long as it takes to develop the elixir of youth. The ultimate goal, however, is digital preservation of a human personality which one day could be uploaded into a new body.
