A Russian woman who has embraced the cold and wears light dresses in winter

Galina is a true believer. She believes that her body can withstand freezing temperatures, that no bacteria or virus pose her any danger, and that her mentor, Dr.Makarov, will live to the age of 124. In winter, Galina walks around in light dresses and open-toe shoes: she is convinced cold can do her nothing but good. She says she always thinks positively and feels happy. All this is a result of her joining Dr.Makarov’s ‘Long Lifer’ health club. Is she delusional or has her teacher really found the key to a long and happy life?
