The coronavirus pandemic has hit the US the hardest. New York City is taking the brunt, where COVID-19 seems to have become a social, as well as a health issue. Social and racial disparity in the level of illness and death has exposed the crisis of available healthcare for people in the city’s poorer neighbourhoods.
