Arseny wakes up on May Day in a nostalgic frame of mind and decides to make some inspirational banners. Akhmed and Andrey put their engineering skills to good use by finally replacing a long-destroyed bookshelf – with questionable results. Later, the dorm mates take to the woods for a barbeque. Arseny has invited his school friend Dasha, who Akhmed and Andrey are very keen to interrogate on their friend’s mysterious past. As well as being quite bossy, Dasha also turns out to be a bit of a ‘Greenpeacenik’. While the kebabs sizzle on the fire, the youngsters engage in a game of ‘truth or dare’. Dasha wavers when challenged to kiss Arseny on the lips, as they are squarely in the ‘friend zone’, but she finds Arseny’s reaction surprising. The day ends with a spirited game of volleyball and everyone agrees that they’ve made the most of the holiday.
