In Chita, Aleksey visits Russia’s biggest Buddhist temple and is delighted when a lama invites him home for tea. The monk even makes a prediction about his future marriage. Pressed for time, Aleksey sets off again, but a big thunderstorm soon darkens the skies. He barely escapes and makes it to the nearest town, where he spends a fitful night, as well as the last of his cash. Tired and fed up, he continues the next day, only to encounter a mysterious traveler who puts his journey in a whole new perspective.
