Veteran pilot, Valery Yaryonov hasn’t been in Hospice #3 very long. His prostate cancer has returned and concerned family and friends visit to keep his spirits up. Valery knows he may not have long to live. Staff members like Nurse, Irina Dudina, realise that caring for terminally ill people can take its toll on them too. She also knows that it’s not a job that everyone could do as the stress can often lead to burnout. Valery has a last request and asks a nurse to take him outside, so he can see a blue sky, one last time.
