Sklif (Ep16) After a failed kidney transplant, is this patient ready to try surgery again?

Sergey needs a kidney transplant, again! He has a life-threatening condition called chronic renal deficiency. He’s been on the organ donor waiting list, hoping a new kidney will restore his health. However, when he finally had his operation it was all in vain: the kidney had to be removed. Now, two years after that ordeal, a new donor kidney has been found for Sergey.

After the previous experience, however, the patient is apprehensive about having new surgery and is struggling to stay optimistic. Luckily for him, this time he has a better chance as he’s been admitted to Russia’s most famous hospital, the Sklifosovsky Institute. Its transplant surgeons are among the best in the country and they are determined to make it work this time.
