RTD's documentary, Where Childhood Died, has bagged silver at the 40th annual Telly Awards. It celebrates video, television content as well as broadcast and online commercials. The theme for this year was, “A Story for Every Screen”.
Where Childhood Died relays the terrifying accounts of Syrian children, forced Islamic State, Al Nusra or Jaish al Islam militants to watch and take part in atrocities. One boy dug tunnels for terrorists, another was a child soldier, and a girl lived in fear that her father would be taken away – the unwilling participants in Syria's conflict talk candidly about the inhumanity they encountered.
