Maria starts feeling bad about her husband’s new job, as it affects his behavior and their relationship. Kirill sets himself right with Vladimir and suggests a way to get over the ‘negative energy’, as the competition is getting tougher. Vasya is going to be ready soon which means the battle is coming to an end.
While Kirill considers proposing to his girlfriend, he and Vladimir are excited to find the ideal job for a man. Later on, the trainees have to prepare the tank for a trial engine run. Kirill gets the privilege of starting the tank engine himself.
Vasya is ‘getting better’ every day. He is being successfully repaired with modern parts that replace the old ones. With the deadline approaching, the crew is trying to accelerate the process. Vladimir and Kirill are now given more serious tasks.
Vladimir and Kirill go to a hockey match with their colleague. Meanwhile, the tank shop faces an emergency situation – the crane operator has left her work station, which leaves the shop’s foreman Yury in a difficult position.
Alyona tells Kirill about her daughter from a previous relationship. He tries to digest this new information. His job brings him its first difficulties. Meanwhile, Vladimir completes his first successful task.
The tank shop foreman gives Kirill a probationary period at his department. Vladimir meets his supervisor who teaches him the basics of tank assembling. He accomplishes his first tasks and makes his first mistakes.
By skipping his shift in order to try to enter the tank shop and watch the work process, Kirill causes an emergency situation. Tank Vasya is examined by the army officer who has to make the final decision of whether the tank can be repaired or should be disassembled.
The repair crew is puzzled about Vasya’s case. Some of them think its condition is so desperate that it won’t be possible to fix it at all. The process gets bumpy. The team starts facing difficulties from the very beginning, and tries to cope with them. Vladimir gets transferred to the job he craved for. During one of the last shifts in his old department, he meets Kirill.
The largest tank producer in the world, Uralvagonzavod, is located in the Siberian city of Nizhny Tagil. This series follows Kirill and Vladimir, two young factory workers who have long dreamt of being taken on in the prestigious tank workshop.
Russian paratroopers aren’t called the “winged infantry” for nothing – their forte is surprising the enemy from above. Anna and Pavel join the servicemen at an airborne training complex for pre-jump training and to learn parachuting safety skills.
Pavel and Anna are sent on a crash-course in alpinism. Scaling the climbing wall turns out to be much more difficult than it first appears, although one of them does succeed in reaching the top. Afterwards, they head to an obstacle course in a snow-covered forest. So much for a seaside holiday.
Anna and Pavel join Russian paratroopers in Novorossiysk – a Hero City on the shores of the Black Sea. They want to test several myths, such as whether every paratrooper gets a special tattoo, and whether it’s possible to parachute out of a plane inside an armoured assault vehicle.
