Discover the lives of nomadic reindeer herders in RTD’s Nenets documentaries

The indigenous Nenets people of the Yamal Peninsula have led a nomadic life, tending their reindeer herds for centuries. However, their land is rich in natural resources such as oil and gas. Some Nenets have taken to living in villages, and keep up their traditional craft of sledge-building while spending some time every winter living under deer skins looking after their reindeer.
