The 2004 Beslan school terrorist attack focused attention on the Caucasus as we see in RTD’s North Ossetia documentaries

The Beslan school siege left 334 people dead, most of them children. RTD returned over the years to see how the surviving pupils and their rescuers fared. Six years after, the film Town of Little Angels uncovered the deep hurt lingering among the survivors. A decade after signs of reconciliation appear with the victim’s families writing to a surviving terrorist in the moving film Letters to a Terrorist. Fifteen years on, the survivors and the rescuers have come to terms and live full lives in Living for the Angels.
