Alexander Pichushkin, the “Chessboard Killer”

19 December 1006

Bitsevsky Park, in southwest Moscow, is still surrounded by an aura of fear. At the beginning of the century, the ‘Chessboard’ serial killer Alexander Pichushkin stalked the area. Pichushkin was caught in 2006 and is serving a life sentence.
