The Face of Famine: malnourished children in war-torn Yemen

The bulging eyes and sunken cheekbones are the visible signs of malnourishment. Qoba is 12-years-old and is one of the thousands of malnourished children in war-torn Yemen. The UN says 10 million people are close to famine in the country, many of them children. Doctors are worried that with so many of those affected infants and pregnant women, the long-term future of the country is at stake.
