The Crimean city liberated from the Nazis 70 years ago commemorated in RTD’s Sevastopol documentaries

To mark the 70th anniversary of its liberation from the Nazis, the city of Sevastopol in Crimea held a huge commemoration to mark the occasion. It was a time for veterans and the young to get together and celebrate the event and the passing years. The documentary Sevastopol: Never Surrender looks at the legacy the liberation and the spirit it instilled in the people who live there. It’s also an opportunity to look ahead to the future of Sevastopol as part of Crimea recently reunited with Russia.
