When Islamic terrorists took over the Syrian city of Douma, Imid was a teenager. For five years he was brainwashed and forced to take up arms. He fought against the Syrian Army on the frontline. But when liberation eventually came, he realised his so-called enemy were friends just like him. That time is now lost, and he’s missed out on his education. Imid now worries about what he can do with his life.
