Music is the Best Medicine

Music therapy is proving to be an effective way to calm children who are frightened by hospital treatment. Eight-year-old Everlyse was born without eyes and sometimes had to be forcibly restrained when being treated. Thankfully, that’s now become a distant nightmare. It all changed when a therapist started playing the guitar for Everlyse to sing along. Now she happily sings her little heart out while the doctors examine her.
