DOPING STORY
19 December
An investigation into the running of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory has accused its former head Grigory Rodchenkov and others of hacking its database. Rodchenkov and two colleagues fled to the United States, and while there entered the lab’s computer system. In 2015, the World Anti-Doping Agency accused him of destroying more than 1,400 doping samples. Rodchenkov admitted his guilt and then fled the country, becoming an informant.
