The lion dance is one of the most popular in Chinese culture. It’s performed at Chinese New Year and other occasions. However, you’ve probably never seen it played like this before. The two dancers are practising without the heavy costume. They each have to perfect the moves, so they become second-nature before donning the costumes. The man at the front moves the head, and the one at the back looks after the body and the tail.
