Music of the Street

Meet the happy-go-lucky street musicians of Moscow

They bring music to the streets of Moscow, parks, cafés and trains. The money they earn comes in small change, but all the while they dream of the big stage. Many of them are self-taught and have no money for tutors or expensive instruments. Often they have to perform for free. But they never give up their work: for music is their lifelong passion and no other job would give them the same enjoyment. Hear the stories of Moscow’s street musicians.
