Love syndrome

Dmitry Polyakov is a veteran actor at the Theater of Open-Hearted , where people with Down syndrome perform, and now the time has come for him to retire. Acting has been his raison d'etre, but he doesn't seem too upset about quitting it, as he is in love. The theater’s director, Igor Neupokoev, says there is no sophistication or subtlety in his performances, but a charming mix of openness and straightforwardness is what makes it a success.

In July 2012 Love Syndrome received a Gold Omni Intermedia Award.
