When the local men prove to be too unreliable in a small, bucolic district of Russia's Tver Region, it's up to the women to take control, doing everything from administrating the community to leading a majestic, centuries-old convent, to running one of the local dairy farms. Can these sturdily self-reliant ladies really do everything that a man do and more? RT reveals a quintessential Russian village that has broken with tradition and become a matriarchy.
