Adult son Maxim pops around to the apartment to see his father, and they decide to visit the shooting range. Maxim proves a crack shot, which gets Stas thinking the younger kids need to start learning self-defence. All the children are enrolled in a martial arts class, which turns out to be a big hit. However, Masha is worried that the girls need more gentile pastimes.
