When you go down in the woods, you’ll be surprised by RTD’s forest documentaries

All around the world, our forests are under threat. From the Amazon basin to Indonesia, and the islands of the Philippines RTD’s forest documentaries chart the battle to save our precious rainforests. We travel into the Arctic region to learn about the lives of loggers legally felling trees to be made into paper. Caring for orphaned wild bears from the Russian forests is the subject of the inspiring documentary Bear with Me. For schoolchildren, tapping birch trees for sap in the spring is an annual ritual. The sap is used to make a traditional Russian fermented drink.
