RTD’s Israeli-Palestinian conflict documentaries chart the decades of mistrust and violence

Since the State of Israel was founded in 1948, the Israelis and Palestinians have struggled to find a solution where they can live side-by-side. Israel has fought wars with all its neighbours, and the Palestinians have led one of the longest popular resistance movements in history. After 60 years, a solution is no closer, but there is always hope. Peace campaigners from both sides adamantly take small steps which they anticipate will bring a lasting end to the conflict. Meanwhile, on both sides of the divided life goes on with an everlasting belief that peace will eventually come.
