For nine years soldiers defend their homeland: story from the frontlines
The documentary shows a few days from the life of fighters who have been defending Donbass and its people for more than 9 years. 'Vostok' Battalion fighters are used to intense gunfire and mortar attacks; every day they go to the front line to work. One of the fighters, codename Syava, wishes to spend some time with his family or just spend a couple of days in a place where ordinary people walk, smile, and enjoy life. However, Syava confesses that he cannot afford to leave the frontlines as the lives of Donbass civilians depend on the job 'Vostok' fighters do every day.
