Drone delivery of organs

For the first time a donor organ has been delivered by drone. The human kidney was moved between two hospitals in Maryland, in the United States. The two-mile journey took ten minutes of flying time. The company AiRXOS has been working on the technology for three years, as organs need to be delivered quickly so they can be successfully transplanted.
