Newark City Council has passed a local law banning loud and drunken parties by students from the University of Delaware. Police have the right to break up parties where the participants are drinking underage, or are publically intoxicated. Organisers can be fined $500, and ordered to do 20 hours community service. The Princeton Review ranks the University of Delaware the number one party school in the US.
