Gave birth in jail

Diana Sanchez gave birth to her son in a jail cell alone. She was nine months pregnant at the time she was detained. This viral video shows how the staff ignored her during contractions. Then, a nurse came and took the baby and told Sanchez she could have bled to death. An internal investigation conducted by the Denver Sheriff’s Department cleared is deputies of wrongdoing. As a result, changes were made for women in the last stage of pregnancy.
