Girl with cancer becomes a cop

6-year-old Abigail Arias had life-threatening cancer but dreamed of being a police officer. She mentioned it to Ray Garivey, Freeport’s Police Chief, and he decided to make her dream come true. Abigail received a custom uniform with police department insignia. A ceremony was held where Abigail promised to fight the ‘bad guys’ cancer in her body.
