When mistaken identity turns racist

Clarence Evans was minding his business in his front yard when he was confronted by a police officer saying he was a wanted felon. The officer called him by a name he didn’t recognise and said there was a warrant issued for him in Louisiana. Despite protestations from Clarence and his wife, he’d got the wrong man the police officer persisted. It took time to diffuse the situation, and Clarence now wants to sue the police for racial harassment.
