.Almost overnight, Aleksey Antonov began to go downhill. Aleksey has Parkinson’s Disease, as well as cancer that’s complicated by diabetes. His son, Sergey is distressed to see his father weak and bedridden and the doctors don’t give much hope. However, Anatoly Ilyin is going home after successful treatment with an experimental new drug. The doctors are pleased with his progress and are more worried about the five flights of stairs he’ll have to conquer when he goes back to his flat.
