Lidia Vasilevskaya
Lidia was born and raised in Krasnodar and comes from a family of journalists. At university she studied foreign languages but has worked in television since the age of 16. Her varied experience includes presenting an entertainment programme and being a special correspondent for a news department. Throughout her early career, Lidia always dreamed of making documentaries and telling captivating stories. She has worked for RT since 2009, when she moved to Moscow.
Lidia has a broad spectrum of interests, including outer space, mulled wine, skydiving and medieval history.
She adores her job and describes herself as having a gentle nature, but says she’s far from docile.
