World Cup Fever: St. Petersburg. Taking in FIFA Confed Cup Final in Russia’s Cultural Capital

Diego, Mukha, and Vitaly head to St. Petersburg on the high-speed Sapsan train. Arriving from Moscow in just four hours, they walk down the main drag, Nevsky Prospect, home to many of the city’s most famous sites, including Palace Square and Russia’s most famous art museum, the Hermitage. Diego even manages to watch the bridges being raised over the city’s many canals that night. The next day, the friends go to the gargantuan St. Petersburg Stadium to see the final of the FIFA Confederation Cup.
