It’s time for a new man to pick up the reins in Donetsk: Ilya Petrenko readies himself for what lies ahead. Flying south from Moscow, he is naturally anxious about what he’ll find in the war-ravaged city. His fears are partly waylaid when he meets outgoing correspondent Murad at the border and gets briefed on the situation. However, the devastation on the road to Donetsk still overwhelms him.
