Night Shift Reporting – News Team Ep.69
It’s referendum day in Scotland. After the last votes are cast, Marina Kosareva will spend a sleepless night in Edinburgh, waiting to see if Scotland chooses to stay a part of the United Kingdom or become a separate country. The “leave” and “remain” voters are neck in neck and the final outcome of the historic referendum is too close to call. While waiting, excitement is mounting in the streets of Scotland’s capital and Marina talks to some of revellers who plan to stay up all night for the result.
Meanwhile in Moscow, Bricio Segovia from RT’s Spanish channel prepares for a screen test. Getting a job as a news anchor will mean a switch to serious topics from the more light-hearted topics he’s used to. Being offered the new role though will take him one step closer to his ultimate goal, hosting his own show.
