Foreign journalists risk lives and careers for revelatory Donbass reports
American journalist George Eliason has long been convinced that alternative opinions are never published in the US press. When Eliason heard about plans for war in Donbass, he went there to understand and share the true story about the unfolding conflict. Eight years later, he still lives in the combat zone and covers events on the frontline. Many times Eliason reported how Ukraine was attacking its own people but received no response. Together with journalists from Britain, Italy and other European countries he continues to investigate the atrocities of Nazi battalions deliberately targeting Donbass civilians. What drives them to cover the conflict at the risk of their own life?
