Popular Russian blogger caught spreading harmful 'pseudoscience'

Elena Kornilova was a typical Instagram star whose blog was devoted to physical beauty. Her methods were questionable: she advised followers to swallow lots of different pills. She claimed that her expertise was based on her degree in natural sciences. After she had achieved a measure of fame, a commission was set up to combat pseudoscience, it found Kornilova's advice to be very dangerous and that she had no scientific qualification: her degree was fake.
