A patient detained for allegedly stealing IV drip

Shaquille Dukes was in the hospital with pneumonia in Freeport, Illinois. When he was recovering, the doctors allowed him to go for a walk with his brother and boyfriend. Walking in hospital gowns and with an IV drip, he was detained by the police for allegedly stealing medical equipment. The Freeport police had to pay compensation, while Dukes says he doesn’t need the money, he just wants such cases not to happen again.
