A man who’ll always look like a teen

The curious case of 33-year-old Denis Vashurin, who looks like a teenager rather than a grown-up, is caused by a rare genetic disease that robs a person of a much-needed growth hormone. As a result, all of his life, Denis had to put up with questions starting like “Aren’t you too young to… (fill in the blank)”. He drives a car, works a demanding job, calls hunting his favourite pastime and has a tumultuous, exciting personal life. Still, he’s more comfortable living in a small town by the sea where he’s got a support network of friends where everyone knows better than to question his maturity.
