The flaming meteorite investigated in RTD’s Chelyabinsk documentaries

The Siberian city of Chelyabinsk hit the headlines when a meteorite exploded near the city, causing some damage to buildings and fear among the people. What made the event so significant was that so many people around the city captured the fiery tail of the meteorite on video. The bright light was seen streaking across the sky, eventually exploding high in the atmosphere and sending shockwaves across the city.
