Political and social change is at the heart of RTD’s United Kingdom documentaries
The UK is going through a period of enormous cultural and political change, mirrored in RTD’s United Kingdom documentaries. The film Cyberbullies investigates the modern phenomena, talking to the families of those who have committed suicide because of the pressure. The tough UK immigration policy and the dilemma of families kept apart by the system are highlighted in Happy Never After. Even so, people still risk their lives to enter the UK, as seen in the film Dead End: The Calais Crisis.
