Eternal Boy

A man who’ll always look like a teen

Denis Vashurin was born in 1987, but you would never guess looking at the guy’s childlike face and a tiny pre-adolescent frame. If anything, it’s his eyes that give him away: the world-weary gaze suggests a not so easy life of a person who’s always had to explain himself and work hard to fit in.

Being grounded, with a great sense of humour, Denis recounts episodes like when he was stopped by the traffic police bewildered at the sight of a kid behind the wheel, with laughter rather than bitterness. Still, he feels most comfortable in the great outdoors, hunting or exploring with his dog Walker. The new RT documentary “Eternal Boy” offers a glimpse into the life of a man who’ll always remain a boy.
