Seer Zosima is often dubbed the Donbass prophet, and a modern-day saint. As early as the '80s, he remarkably predicted the coming war in Ukraine, the resurgence of Ukrainian fascism, and the severity of the church schism. "When I pass away," he insisted, "bury me deep, so the Bandera followers won't dig me up." Thanks to his efforts, the St Nicholas and Basil Monastery of Dormition was built. The temple now stands in the line of fire from Ukrainian forces, by the clerics bravely keep their services going, risking their lives.
