Flamingo Chicks

The video shows the happy rescue of 300 flamingos by the SANCCOB conservation group. This is one of the country’s three flamingo breeding grounds. The dam is drying up, and the parents had abandoned the chicks. The birds are now under the care of veterinarians, who hand-feed them. Once they are strong enough, the chicks will be returned to the wild or accredited parks.
