The Twice Abandoned Bear

As a bear, Mikola hasn’t been treated well by humans. He grew up in a circus, and when he became too infirm to perform, he was abandoned. A man thought he would make a good pet, and took him to his country home where Mikola was left in squalid conditions. Locals were appalled and called in the wildlife service who took the bear away from the owner. Mikola now lives at a wildlife reserve and is undergoing rehabilitation until a new, permanent home can be found for him.
