My Baby, My Way
Swinging newborns by their feet: baby yoga or baby abuse?
This school in Dahab, Egypt, encourages water births. Babies born this way are then subjected to controversial exercises like 'baby yoga' meant to make them strong, flexible and brave. PE teacher Elena Fokina's methods include teaching new-borns to swim and practising "baby yoga" with them: a process which involves spinning and swinging babies by their hands and feet. Though the school is much criticised in the media, its head is adamant the exercises are beneficial to the babies and do no harm.
